Ima Susilowati

Ima has 15 years of experience in development. Her career at NGO started with the issue on Reproductive Health at Indonesia Planned Parenthood Association (IPPA/PKBI), Yogyakarta chapter. She has dedicated herself then for gender works in community development program in Unity Service Cooperation Foundation (Yayasan Satunana).  She worked with Oxfam GB in during the Java Earthquake Response in 2006 and deployed in Aceh Tsunami Response Program, Oxfam International during 2007.

For the last four years, she has been working in the area of capacity building for many NGOs in Indonesia. She did capacity building for NGOs working on HIV-AIDS in Bali, 2008, during her work with Burnet Indonesia, an Australia-based NGO. Since 2009 Ima has been a part of CIRCLE Indonesia, an organization providing consultancy service.  She, with some other consultants at CIRCLE Indonesia, has delivered capacity building for Cordaid’s partners in Java working on the program of Women and Violence.  Monitoring and Evaluation is another area of her expertise. She conducted some project evaluations in Aceh and Nias.
