The objective of this capacity building program was to build the capacity of Cordaid partners to undergo social transformation through organisational restructuring and development of gender-based advocacy and management.

In general, the sectors where capacity building was needed are program development, financial management, donor diversification and fundraising, partner synergy, organisational audits, and transition to public awareness raising and policy advocacy institutions. Naturally, the form and substance of this capacity building was depending on the real needs of the respective partner organisations.

Capacity building is a must for any organisation. As well as developing the organisation itself, it also supports achievement of the programmes it handles.
